My name is Isabelle NORRIS or Isa-uk on the forums.
I’m French but I live in South East England with my husband Bob (who is British) and my 3 children : Julian (12), Antoine (10) and Melissa (5).
I started crafting in 2000 with 3D decoupage and other craft activities, which were popular at the time in France.
In 2003, I started rubber-stamping and card making. That was the beginning of a wonderful adventure.
I started attending classes after classes (in the Craft Barn, Surrey, UK) always eager to learn more techniques. I also learnt a lot through the Internet (websites, forums etc…)
In 2004, I started scrapbooking but never gave up on card making and stamping. Inks and stamps were piling up already at that time.
En 2005, I bought my first Distress inks (2 or 3 at first and quickly all of them). Thanks to those inks I found my own style. Everything went really fast after that.
I started teaching workshops at the Craft Barn end of 2005.
I was then invited to join the Katzelkraft Design Team (French stamps : www.katzelkraft.fr ), the Magnolia Design Team and finally the Embelliscrap DT in Dec 2007 (www.embelliscrap.com).
In 2008, I left the Magnolia DT in April and joined the Kadoodle DT (in May) and the Stampavie DT (in June).
My work has been published in several magazines (French, British and American)
In 2007, I hosted the Alpha Challenge and then started (along with 2 friends) the popular ISMAKI challenge.
My inks and stamps collection keeps on growing and I’m getting addicted to acrylic paints and spray inks too (does it ever stop ??)
My favorite products are all the Ranger ones : inks, paints, UTEE etc… and the Versafine/Versamagic inks too.
I still learn as much everyday through books, websites, blogs and thanks to my friends around the world.
We all share the same passion and love sharing everything we learn.
Today, the adventure goes on with all sorts of projects I’ve been working on in 2008, including teaching workshops/doing demonstrations monthly in France, Belgium and the Netherlands.
In May 2008, I started working daily at the Craft Barn and I'm still teaching there several times a month.
What I love about scrapbooking and cardmaking, is that there is always something new to learn because it changes all the time : new products, new lines : so much to discover. You can never get bored !
My other passion (as important to me) is digital scrapbooking.
I usually use paper for mini albums and altering but I love digital scrapbooking for individual pages. They are two different hobbies but I love them both.
My children, my hubby, my family and my friends are always here to support me and I thank them from the bottom of my heart to be here for me every single day.

Je m’appelle Isabelle Norris (mais on me connaît surtout sous le nom de Isa-uk)
Je suis française mais je vis en Grande-Bretagne avec mon mari (Anglais) et mes trois enfants : Julian 12 ans, Antoine 10 ans et Melissa 5 ans.
J’ai commencé les loisirs créatifs il y a 8 ans avec le découpage 3D, le serviettage etc…
Puis, en 2003, j’ai commencé le rubber stamping et ça a été le déclic et le début d’une grande aventure.
Passionnée comme je suis, j’ai cumulé les ateliers pour apprendre un maximum de techniques de bases et j’ai aussi appris énormément grâce à Internet (sites, forum etc…).
En 2004, je me suis aussi lancée dans le scrapbooking sans pour cela abandonner la carterie. Les encres et les tampons s’accumulaient rapidement déjà à cette époque.
En 2005, j’ai acheté mes premières encres Distress (2 ou 3 d’abord puis très rapidement toutes les autres) et ce sont ces encres qui m’ont permis de trouver mon style. Tout est allé très vite après cela.
En 2008, j'ai quitté Magnolia . J'ai ensuite rejoint Kadoodle en mai et Stampavie en Juin.
Mes réas ont été publiées dans plusieurs magazines français, anglais et américains.
Aujourd’hui, l’aventure continue avec plein de projets en cours. En 2008, j'ai animé chaque mois des ateliers en France, Belgique et Hollande.
Depuis mai 2008, je travaille dans mon magasin local, le Craft Barn, et je m'occupe de la gestion du site et des blogs. J'y anime toujours régulièrement des ateliers.
Ma collection d’encres (et de tampons) ne fait qu’augmenter chaque mois et les peintures acryliques et les encres en spray les ont maintenant rejointes. J’apprends toujours autant, tous les jours, grâce aux livres, au différents sites et à mes amies à travers le monde qui partagent leur passion avec moi.
Ma préférence va vers tous les produits Ranger que ce soit pour leurs encres ou pour leurs peintures acryliques mais j'ai aussi un faible pour les encres Versafine et Versamagic ainsi que les encres en spray.
Ce que j’aime dans le scrapbooking et la carterie, c’est le changement et l’évolution perpétuelle qui permettent d’apprendre un peu plus chaque jour. Une chose est sûre : on ne s’en lasse pas !Mon autre passion (et pas des moindres) est le scrapbooking digital.
Je garde en général le papier pour altérer divers objets et pour les mini albums, mais je préfère le digital pour les pages individuelles.
Ce sont des hobbies bien différents mais pour moi complémentaires.
Mes enfants, mon mari, ma famille et mes amies me soutiennent chaque jour et je les remercie du fond du c½ur pour leurs encouragements.
